| Roots-rotary vane pump is the common pumping equipment of the rough or low vacuum and the backing pump of the high vacuum or ultrahigh vacuum pump. But it still has many shortcomings, such as large volume, low integration, high consumed power, complicated assembly and more components.This topic comes from the rotary vane-roots combination pump idea patent project of Zhejiangfeiyue mechanical and electrical CO., LTD. Instead of the roots-rotary vane pump which pumping speed is 150 L/s develop a new combination pump. Compared with the roots-rotary vane pump, the combination pump has many advantage, such as small volume, high integration, low consumed power and few components. It has strong engineering practicability, obvious market advantage and broad prospects.In this paper, the main research work is as follows:(1) Design the new rotary vane-toots combination pump in based on the rotary vane-roots combination pump idea patent project of Zhejiangfeiyue mechanical and electrical CO., LTD. Including all parts of the combination pump. Build the original prototype model by Solid Works software.(2) Analyze the strength by ANSYS Workbench 12.0 software based on the finite element theory.(3) Improve the structure of the combination pump. The improvements includes the rotor, transmission parts, gas path and so on.(4) Analyze the main performance parameters of the combination pump and compered it with the roots-rotary vane pump. The properties of the combination pump is superior to the roots-rotary vane pump.(5) Analyze the volumetric efficiency and the maximum zero flow compression ratio of the combination pump. Determine the scope of application of the combination pump.In this paper, the main conclusions are as follows:(1) This topic to realize the process of the rotary vane-roots combination pump idea from nonexistence to pass into existence. Give the original prototype mode. It can be given from the strength analysis that stress and deformation of the parts is small. It has good mechanical properties. The structure optimization of combination pump provides reference for the structure improvement of mechanical vacuum pump. It has played a role in guiding for new mechanical design person in the field of mechanical vacuum pump.(2) It can be given from the main performance parameters of the combination pump that compared with the roots-rotary vane pump the combination pump has good performance and obvious market advantages. The combination pump has small volume, high integration, low consumed power and few components. This provides substantial support data for the actual production, application and promotion of the combination pump.(3) The volumetric efficiency of the combination pump increases while the inlet gas pressure decreases. It is suitable for the vacuum system that working pressure within the scope of low or medium vacuum. It could as a former level pump within the scope of medium or high vacuum pressure.(4) The maximum zero flow compression ratio of the combination pump decreases if the molecular weight of the pumped gas becomes smaller or the temperature of the pumped gas becomes higher. The rotary vane-roots combination pump does not apply to the small molecular weight or high temperature of the pumped gas. |
