There will be the case that obstacles and road alignm ent is not vertical in the road construction,so it is required to build bridge structure into a certain angle of the form in order to make a sm ooth flow.Compared to the or thogonal Bridge, the Skew bridge is m ore complex in the stress ch aracteristics, but the th eoretical research results are limited, so the design process is usually a practical experi ence. The results sho w that the stress characteristics of the skew bridge is dif ferent from that of the orthogonal Bridge, the common method of hand calculati on and the software of the plane analysis can not be satisfactory. So the results of the skew bridge obtained by the modification of the orthogonal bridge tend to produce lar ger errors.Small box girder bridge can usually be prefabricated in advance in the factory, and then spliced in to the bridge site. It has th e advantages of fast construction, high reliability, low cost, etc. it is widely used in the bridge construction in China.Based on the above reasons, to carry out engi neering research of the skew continuous box girder bridge is co mmonly necessary. In order to find out the influence law of skew angle on the influence of static and dynamic characteristics of bridge structures the static and dynamic characteristics of the bridge structure,in this paper, based on the static and dynamic load test of a 4-span conti nuous skew box girder in Hui W u highway, for the ef fect of the skew angle on the force characteristics of con tinuous box girder bridge, research work will be carried out as follows:1、Based on the finite element method and the shear flexible grillage theory, using finite element software, skew continuous box girder br idge superstructure model was established. Using the engineering examples verify the correctness of the model and provide the basis for the next research.2、Established the continuous box beam finite element model with different skew angle, by applying external excitation to the model,we can obtain the bending moment, deflection and strain response under dif ferent excitation, and through the finite elem ent model to calculate the transverse distribution coefficient of the beam. Through the response results, the influence law of static characteristics of skew angle on the continuous girder bridge.3、Analysis the calculation m ethod commonly used of dynam ic characteristics, and through the finite element m odel to calculate continuous box girder vibration mode and frequency of different skew angle and analysis the change regulation of frequency and mode shape with the variation of the skew angle.
