Voltage transformer is installed in each grid node connection of a system and secondary system important equipment, monitor running on smart grid plays an irreplaceable role. Voltage transformer and its damage to fuse seriously affect the stable operation of power grid. The existing research is generally believed that the damage of the voltage transformer associated with LC resonance steady-state current is too large, and design the related harmonic elimination. But with the development of smart grid, the neutral point grounding grid of single-phase earth fault and voltage and harmonic elimination device the appearance of fire accident let us realize the voltage transformer is still to be improved and optimized. The damage mechanism of voltage transformer and suppression measures still have important research value.In this paper, based on the research several damage mechanism of voltage transformer, with neutral ungrounded system as an example, analysis the main factor causing damage of voltage transformer, and the measures to control analysis. The subject of the main work is as follows:The comparison and analysis of voltage transformer series model and parallel model are completed.Of the commonly used two kinds of transformer transient characteristic and static characteristic test, verify its damage mechanism.Dynamic model test, and the fever of voltage transformer are simulated.As to the cause of damage of voltage transformer processing measures to carry on the test, thermal stability check of neutral point grounding grid, reduce the damage probability.
