As human being exploration of space science, space science technology is developing rapidly, a variety of space science data also will be generated and increasing. In order to make space science data better to serve for people, providing a space science data services platform is necessary. The space science data is also characterized by large volumes, and can even reach the level of TB. Large amounts of data will affect the response time of data service platform, and slow down the speed of the entire data service platform, making software system friendly decreased. To solve this problem, we want to implement a REST style of Space Science Data Services Platform.The platform includes data directory, quick preview, getting data, the system management module, and so on. Administrators can manage users through this platform, modify registered user’s basic information and permission issues; Registered users can download and visualize satellite magnetic survey data through this platform, also can view and download meta data information. The platform is completed based on various space science satellite magnetic survey data, using Python development language for the server, using PostgreSQL database to store data, and using Ajax technology. The paper introduces the background, significance and research status topics. Secondly, according to the idea of software engineering, we analyze requirement of the platform, ensure the quality of product development, and design the detailed structure and function of the overall software. Subsequently, code to achieve the established requirements for the software. Finally, test the product functional and performance. After testing, the software to achieve the desired effect with better usability. It has been an independent, flexible, extensible, and friendly platform to share the magnetic data.
