Concrete columns confined with CFRP tube is a relatively new type of composite structure. With the constraint of CFRP tube, the bearing capacity,plastic deformation capacity and durability of concrete columns have been improved significantly. In the same time, it can reduce the construction process of concrete columns.The finite element analysis model of concrete columns confined with CFRP tube is established by ABAQUS in the paper, and the model is verified with the followed implementation of the axial compression experiments. The seismic performance of concrete columns confined with CFRP tube is simulated under low reversed cyclic loads, and the finite element analysis is conducted with the comparison of different axial compression ratios, slenderness ratios, different thicknesses of CFRP tubes,and the strengths of concrete.
