Concrete filled circular steel tubes column confined by CFRP is one kind of new combination column, compared with concrete filled circular steel tubes column, has higher bearing capacity, better ductility and durability, and not only keeps concrete in three dimension stress state and avoid buckling failure of steel tube, but also prevent steel tube corrosion. As the key part of the overall frame structure, the node plays an important role to produce an effect on the stability and integrity of structure. At present, the study of column-beam nodes of the CFST is maturity, however, achievements on the study of column-beam node of the CFRP-CFST are not. Therefore, based on relevant experimental study, mechanical properties of concrete filled circular steel tubes confined column by CFRP to H-shaped steel beam connection(interior column joints in frame structure) was studied through numerical simulation under low cycle load in this paper, and the content was as follows:(1)The finite element models of concrete filled circular steel tube column confined by CFRP to H-shaped steel beam with outside stiffener rings connection were established by ABAQUS software, and combined with the analysis of the results of relevant experiment on hysteresis curves, ductility, stiffness degradation and strength degradation etc, the results showed that the finite element modeling method in this paper is reliable. The loading process of JQB0650 joint was analyzed by the numerical simulation, and the result shown that the destruction of specimen was caused by the plastic hinge of the steel beam-end node region and accorded with the “strong column weak beam”.(2)The mechanical properties of joint with outside stiffener ring were further researched on axial compression ratio, reinforcement forms, thickness of enforced loop plate etc, to give some suggests about the project. The mechanical properties of semi-rigid joint and hinged joint were researched in some aspects which were material properties, axial compression ratio, energy dissipation as well as ductility. Based on the former studies, the scope of application of three types of nodes was summarized in terms of loading features.(3)Eight stories frame structure which has interior concrete filled circular steel tubes confined by CFRP column was operated Pushover analysis of the whole structure through SAP2000 software. The analysis shows that the frame has good elastic-plastic behavior and accords with the “strong column weak beam” principle.
