With the improvement of living standards and the increasing amount of cars, the number of traffic accidents is also increasing. According to the survey, a large part of the traffic accident is caused by the bad steering brake. As a result, the safety and stability of the car is getting more and more attention. Therefore, how to improve the safety and stability of the vehicle has become a hot research field of automobile technology. On the basis of summing up research results at home and abroad, this thesis takes the Integrated Control of Anti-lock Braking System and Active Front Steering system as the research object. The aim is to improve braking efficiency and directional stability of the vehicle with the integrated control of the two subsystems. In the first part of this thesis, research status, development trend of automobile chassis integration technology and the fundamental principle of ABS and AFS are stated in order to clarify the feasibility and validity of integrated controlling of the two subsystem. Then, in the second part, based on Matlab/Simulink Platform, the following models are built: two-degree of freedom vehicle reference model, seven-degree of freedom vehicle dynamics model, tire model, road model, brake model and steering gear model. The third part of the thesis focuses on the research of ABS and AFS strategy. Accordingly, the controller for both system are designed. Besides, a coordination control strategy for two subsystems ABS and AFS is also proposed. In the last part, according to working status of the two typical steering braking conditions, the simulations are carried out. To be specific, ABS control simulation, AFS system control simulation and ABS and AFS system coordination control simulation. The simulation results are also analyzed and compared in this part.
