Nanoparticles are excellent lube additive in point of anti-friction and anti-wear property which emerge in recent years.Nanoparticles have high surface energy, so it is possible to reunite in lube oil. Then it usually needs to be modified.The surface-active agent has special structure, it has hydrophilic group and lipophilic group. If the lube oil is mixed with water,the surface-active agent will combine the water and oil together, making it hard to separate water from lube oil, Through comparing the demulsibility of lube oil before and after adding titanium dioxid e nano particles, this paper discussed and researched the influences of surfactant to dem ulsibility. so the emulsification happened. It is important for demulsifying agent to have good demulsibility while maintaining good diffusion effect.The mixture of T1001 and T746 has good demulsibility. By comparing the. demulsibility of different composite ratio founding that the demulsibility is the best with the proportion of 1:1.5 of T1001 and T746 when mix lg combined additive with 40ml lube oil.By comparing the physical and chemical properties including alkali number viscosity-temperature characteristics and flash point of lubricating oil before and after adding composite additives, founding that there are no adverse effects on physical and chemical properties after adding composite additives. Indicating that the composite ratio of additives can to a certain extent, meet the requirement of demulsification.
