This article explored the characteristics and rules of the development of lighting system, and proposed the concept of lighting system in smart form based on the exploration and development in the intelligence area.In the first place, this article organized and researched the whole development process of lighting system and unearthed its internal rules. Based on the findings, it then proposed the concept of smart form and lighting system in smart form and explained the definition, significance, features, development stage and carrier of the latter. With an understanding of it, one would better recognize the future development of lighting system and its role in intelligence area.Secondly, in accordance with the main features of lighting system in smart form, this article constructed a mathematic model to assess the balance of lighting system. It will provide reference on the balance designing between function and emotions so as to help designer foster a fresh understanding of the system from a non-sensitive way.Thirdly, it analyzed lighting system in smart form comparing with the market development in smart lighting area, and then employed physical model to demonstrate its significance and position based on a profound and intensive comprehending of the system. The model displays the operating mode of lighting system in smart form as well as a new opportunity of its application in smart home.Lastly, this article also looked into the future of lighting system in smart form. Particularly, with regard to its engagement with other areas, it put forward several coordinating modes, which have not been tested by market and experiment but represent a fresh new and attracting concept that will provide suggestion for the future development of lighting system.
