As an important part of internal combustion engine, gas distribution mechanism, its reasonable design can directly affect the engine’s power, economy, reliability and service life. Therefore, the structure of the gas distribution mechanism is an important research direction of the internal combustion engine. With the environmental degradation and the increasing demand of the internal combustion engine, the development and usage of the new structure of the gas distribution mechanism becomes urgent. In view of this situation, this topic is based on the development and research of the structure of the valve, the design of a new type of structural distribution mechanism- sliding block type valve air distribution mechanism.Based on the massive reading of domestic and foreign literature, this essay is trying to improve the original S195 diesel engine value mechanism.Firstly, Sliding block type valve air distribution mechanism is designed, and the solid model such as the sliding block intake and exhaust valve, the valve seat, the intake and exhaust valve spring and so on are established according to the drawing in UG.Secondly, according to the dynamics characteristics of the gas distribution mechanism and on the performance of the internal combustion engine matching demand analytical method aided design of cam contour by using MATLAB software to get the entity model, and get in front of the entity model for assembly. At the same time, the mass, stiffness and damping of these parts are calculated, and the multi rigid body dynamics simulation model is established by using ADAMS software.Finally, under the environment of ADAMS, the dynamic simulation of the gas distribution mechanism of internal combustion engine analysis, obtains the slider dynamics simulation of intake and exhaust valve lift, velocity, acceleration, cam and slide valve indirect contact force, valve spring centroid displacement curve focuses on the analysis of the graphs of velocity and acceleration of two valve, under different speed performance parameters of the slide block valve structure are analyzed also analysis of valve spring selection effect on the performance of the slide valve. At the same time, the influence of different speed of the crankshaft on the valve acceleration is also discussed.Sliding block type valve air distribution mechanism through the analysis of multi rigid body dynamics simulation obtained the curve and theoretical design curve is basically the same, the stress of each part is within the safety range. Thus, it is feasible to sliding block type valve air distribution machine, which has great significance to the structural innovation of valve train.
