Wind energy is a rich, clean and renewable primary energy, while the power is the most important secondary energy. At present, the world pays more and more attention to the world’s energy security and environmental protection and other issues. Wind power technology is used as a solution to solve the problem of energy and environment, to meet the requirements of sustainable development, and it has been rapid development and become the fastest growing global energy. In the concentrated regions of wind power development, new energy’s dispatching problems are more prominent with its fast expansion. Currently, the grid lakes of enough peaking capacity and power transmission capacity, which are major constraints. However, the utilization of wind power can be maximized under curtailment conditions by optimal wind power scheduling.This article studies the research of abandon wind and the wind power scheduling at home and abroad. It provides the reality basis and decision-making basis for wind power optimization scheduling research. At the beginning, the important concepts and specific modeling process of the wind farm power generation system is introduced. Wind turbine system is the essential ingredient of the wind farm generation system. It is introduced in detail from the aspects of its classification, composition. Meanwhile, it elaborates the future trend and the unit efficiency factors of the wind turbine system. Then, the article introduces the concept, classification, research status and development direction of wind power prediction system. It is the premise condition of wind farm power generation system for wind power optimization scheduling. The capacity model of single fan with disturbance is established through the analysis of the power generating process. And considering the factors of the mutual coupling of wind turbines, the model of the wind farm power generation is established.This paper aims to solve the coupled problem of wind farms modeling and wind power generation optimal scheduling, and it proposes two optimization strategies for the scheduling problem of the wind turbine generation. The first optimization strategy is that at the beginning the target generation of each wind turbine is given by reasonable allocation. Then by controlling the generator torque, the actual generation of each wind turbine can reach the target generation of each wind turbine. The second optimization strategy is that the ideal operation curve of wind turbine generation is given. The ideal operation curve is based on the scheduling value. It is made the actual operation curve of wind turbine generation track the ideal operation curve by controlling the generator torque. Meanwhile, the energy dissipations of the generator electromagnetic torque is minimal. The salient features of the proposed two strategies are as follows:First, the influence among wind turbines is considered in the established model of wind farms. Second, the optimal scheduling of wind power generation is studied. Third, the first strategy is designed by considering the partial information of the system. It is solved by using the backward stochastic differential equation and adjoint equation. And the quadratic performance of the controller is minimum in the second strategy. Numerical simulations are adopted to verify the effectiveness of controllers which are proposed by two optimization strategies.
