The energy problem has become the focus of the world.Traditional energy sources such as coal, oil not only more and more cannot satisfy the needs of human in the future,but also can cause the inevitable environmental pollution.Therefore, the development of renewable energy and clean energy has become a trend.In a large amount of renewable energy,solar energy, with its advantages of large, no pollution, no consumption, security has received wide attention from all over the world.The solar photovoltaic cells is one of the most wide use of solar energy.But now a major problem is that because of the influence of the external environment and load,the solar cell can not export the maximum power all the time,which leads to low conversion efficiency and the waste of solar energy resources.One solution to this problem is for maximum power point tracking(MPPT).Therefore,the MPPT research and implementation work is carried on in this paper,including the proposed of MPPT algorithm, test of simulation load and the application of the specific implementation.First, the electrical characteristics of solar cells are discussed in this paper,and the theoretical foundation of MPPT is established. By analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the traditional MPPT algorithm, the idea of the French mathematician Cauchy is combined with the disturbance observation method. And a new improved algorithm is put forward.The new algorithm is illustrated and analyzed detailedly,and the Matlab simulation is performed.Subsequently the MPPT testing work is executed.The test use electronic load as simulation load of solar cells.The algorithm is Integrated into the host computer software program.The host computer software program controls the electronic load to execute MPPT.The host computer software program is based on Windows Forms platform,and is written by C#language.The program has functions of control, display and storage, etc. Inorder to study the modified algorithm and traditional algorithm,the program can switch two kinds of tracking way.And the test results are sent back to the PC for storage.Finally, the concrete implementation of this project is studied.A MPPT control system is designed.The control system includes the power module and control module.Power module is mainly switch transform circuit.Control module mainly includes collection, communication and STM32 microcontroller system,etc.The control system executes MPPT and sends the final results to the host computer software program.The data is analyzed twice in this paper.First,the electronic load data of traditional algorithm is compared with improved algorithm.It is concluded that the improved algorithm has superiority.Second,the control system data uploaded to PC is compared with previous electronic load data. It is concluded that the MPPT control system based on this algorithm has good effect.
