Due to the motor control system namely the inverter output voltage and current is limited, so motor running above the rated speed when the motor back emf will reach the maximum value, the current regulator will be saturated, which will lead to decline in performance of the electromagnetic torque, current and speed etc.. And permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) wide range speed control technique can make the motor low and constant torque operation, high speed and constant power operation, effectively improve the system dynamic performance; the voltage of the voltage space vector modulation strategy (SVPWM) utilization rate was 15.5% higher than normal SPWM modulation strategy, modulation technology, running in a six beat pattern when the bus voltage utilization rate, therefore, the highest utilization over modulation technique, can enhance the weak magnetic control of permanent magnet synchronous motor can use voltage margin.In this paper, a new method of wide range speed control for permanent magnet synchronous motor is proposed, which is based on the weak magnetic control strategy and the double mode over modulation control strategy based on the negative ID compensation.The mathematical model of permanent magnet synchronous motor is established, including the dynamic model of permanent magnet synchronous motor and the small signal model. Aiming at the maximum value of the motor’s back EMF, the speed can not continue to raise the problem, the analysis of the negative ID compensation based on the weak magnetic control strategy. In order to improve the utilization ratio of bus voltage in the control system, the double mode over modulation control strategy is analyzed.Build permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) wide range speed regulation technology of the simulation model. The main circuit and control circuit of the experimental platform is introduced, and analyzed the principle of speed of the encoder, the encoder signal conversion board debug process were detailed analysis, and gives the test waveforms.This paper describes the software design of the control system, introduces the system protection program based on FPGA chip, and finally summarizes the research work of the paper.
