With the rapid development in the field of water conservancy and hydro power project engineering, mining engineering, traffic engineering, anchor, anti-slide pile, shearing-resistance tunnel and other single reinforcement measures were insufficient to meet the gradual emergence of a large slope reinforcement needs. But the theory and numerical analysis for a variety of joint reinforced slope reinforcement measures lagged far behind in the application of engineering practice. With the support of the national "973 Program" (2011CB013502) project, based on the co-reinforced rock slope model test of combination with different slope reinforcement measures, the numerical simulation models were established. The co-operation mechanism of different slope reinforcement measures were concluded and were proved by the analysis of the slope reinforcement in a practical engineering. The main research achievements shows as follows:(1) Through the study of co-reinforcement among anchors, it is concluded that there is a very close relationship between the anchor’s position in the slope and the role of the anchor plays. The anchors play different roles in resistance sliding along the sliding direction when they have different position. The upper anchor take a strong resistance under the load exerted on the top of the sliding slope early and be destroyed first, which means the anchors in different position are not destroyed in the same time, but have a destruction similar to the domino chain. Through the study of single anchor reinforcement, it is concluded that the anchor in reinforcement in lower position has more advantage than the upper one under the condition of the sliding damage caused by the load exerted on the top of the hill.(2) Through the study of co-reinforcement among anchor and anti-slide pile, it is concluded that the order of their effect. The anchor which played its shear ability early, as an active reinforcement measures, is the first line of defending the sliding slope The anti-slide pile provided the full shear-resistance after the deformation occurred as a passive reinforcement measures, is the second line of defense.(3) Through the study of co-reinforcement among anchor and shearing-resistance tunnel, it is concluded that the characteristic of their effect. The anchor fully played its shear ability early, the shearing-resistance tunnel had a stable shear resistance in the slope sliding process.
