As the transportation of goods continuously to develop in the direction of high speed and overloaded, hook tongue as the connection of the locomotive and vehicle components, only by more intense friction, impact and alternating force, in the process of the long time running, it is easy to break. On the basis of ensure interchangeability hook tongue how to increase its strength is becoming more and more urgent. Before the hook tongue shape is very complicated, mostly adopt the casting forming process, but through casting process to produce hook tongue is easy to produce in the process of forming defects such as slag inclusion, porosity,shrinkage, and its strength is too low, making freight coupler can’t satisfy the need of further acceleration of railway wagon and overloading. Will hook tongue casting forging forming, not only can improve the strength, but also can avoid the defects of casting process.On consulting a large number of reference and consulting relevant technical personnel, on the basis of determining the forging hook tongue to free forging blocking, two die forging, trimming twice, fire three times in the forging process.Using CATIA three-dimensional modeling software cargo hook tongue entity model is established, and the hook tongue each step required for molding in hot forging forming technology has carried on the detailed design. After to obtain data on 25 mncrnimoa steel has established the material data model, then using DEFORM 3 d simulation software to hook tongue hot forging forming process numerical simulation.Through the analysis of visualization of simulation results, observe the metal flowing rule, stress and strain, the temperature field distribution and the generation of defects,etc, and then use the result of forging die and blank size, structure optimization and improvement for many times, ultimately forming a good forging hook tongue,to the subsequent actual production and the promotion of forging hook tongue has important reference significance.In hot forging die design and complete the hook tongue on the basis of forming process simulation, this topic is proposed using multi-way die forging to produce hook tongue. In carefully analyzed the hook tongue entity model and multi-way die forging technology, based on the design of forging die, and the forming process is simulated, after many times of optimization and simulation, design the reasonable mold. Through multi-way die forging technology of production of hook tongue,forging near net shaping, not only can greatly improve the production efficiency, save material, also can ensure the integrity of the metal flow increase hook tongue strength.This topic research is the finite element numerical simulation, the die forging technology and die design, can effectively improve the rationality of the mould design,reduce the number of mold to manufacture, so as to shorten the product development cycle, reduce production cost, for the purpose of subsequent practical applications for bedding.
