The Application Research Of Historical Context In The Landscape Design Of Waterfront Industrial Heritage

As the most important industrial city in modem China, the city of Shanghai, leaved a rich legacy of industrial heritage. How to draw on lessons from the case and experience of the western cities to protect and reuse these industrial heritage. Efficiently using of Shanghai industrial heritage is the important content of the culture continuation and historical heritage of Shanghai.The main content of this paper is divided into three parts:Frist, finishing the results of previous studies in related fields. In this paper, reading and combing domestic and foreign literature, summarize the results of previous studies and established the major research methods.Secondly, sort out and summarize the course of development of Riverside Industrial Heritage and related theories at home and abroad. Collate and summarize the development model in each period and the related principles and theories arise in this process since the urban landscape design produce and list the reuse of industrial heritage related success stories at home and abroad. Thirdly, it describes the concept of historical context and its relationship with the landscape design. Including the relationship between historical context and industrial heritage and historical context between landscape design, as well as specific methods of expression and other elements of historical context in landscape design. Finally, give an empirical research and landscape renewal in conceptual design of Yangshupu power plant in Yangpu waterproof region, this is the focus of this article. The overall objective of the design is given full respect on the original industrial sites to natural environment and historical and cultural background. Combined with its geographical position and its historical and cultural characteristics to create a waterfront plaza which presents the history of Shanghai power industry, but also has the recreation function. Give the continuation of city memory and the reference for the future design of waterproof industrial heritage landscape.
