The performance of hydraulic reciprocating sealing affect the mechanical equipment’s overall performance and service life directly. Through nearly 80 years of development, hydraulic reciprocating seal technology related the systematic research of the hydraulic reciprocating seal technology in sealing mechanism, seal structure and seal material and seal, and other fields have achieved remarkable fruits. But about the sealing operation parameters matching research is relatively poor. This article based on taguchi method main research the operation parameters influence on the performance of the rectangular sealing ring seal main and relations each other.1) Studied the mechanism of the rectangular seal under the dynamic and static conditions of sealing, and analyzed the influence of rectangular sealing ring seal structure, the environment and the operation parameters on sealing properties.2) Established the rectangle seals in the numerical model in the case of elastic fluid dynamics lubrication. At the same time, calculated the performance parameters of the rectangular sealing ring, such as pressure distribution, oil film distribution, leakage and friction values by using MATLAB software programming and draw out the different rough when the film thickness ratio, in order to confirm the lubrication condition coupling surface.3) Analyzed the operating parameters influence in the rectangular sealing of the sealing leakage and the effect of friction force, such as sealing pressure, velocity of the piston rod and seal of the roughness. Determined the critical speed of the piston rod does, critical seal roughness values and critical work pressure on the premise not leakage. Set up the rule of operation parameters under the different sealing pressure, surface roughness and speed.4) Based on taguchi method, optimize the combination the operation parameters of the rectangular sealing ring. By using Minitab software, the different operation parameters related the sealing performance was analyzed and the fitting degree of numerical model was verified. Analyzed the main effects and interaction effects of the different operating parameters response to leakage and friction of rectangular sealing ring. The signal-to-noise ratio is obtained under different parameters combination in order to optimize the operation parameter affecting the sealing performance and find the optimal parameter combination, thus provide theoretical basis for rational selection of the operation parameters of rectangular sealing ring.
