Rolling bearing is one of the most important mechanical components, which were widely used all over the world. Its quality directly affects the host performance because the contact fatigue performance of bearing steel is the important basis of the bearing quality. Studying the bearing steel contact fatigue performance help improving the bearing reliability, speeding up product development cycle and enhancing the quality of bearing. Carry out the bearing steel contact fatigue test research become a hot field.Based on the rolling bearing fault diagnosis technology, this report firstly researching and developing the " Bearing and Gear Material Contact Fatigue Testing System". Then calculating the contact stress, which have great influence on contact fatigue performance, and testing the data with experiments supporting. System can adjust the parameters such as stress and speed according to the demand parameters. The complete set of software which based on the Lab VIEW can realize real-time monitoring, instructs the bearing running condition and alarm downtime when the bearing failure. Application debugging diagnosis system can simulate the actual working condition of contact fatigue performance of the experiment.According to the requirements and bearing use conditions, this research presented measurement standard about high performance bearing gear material test and the calculation formula of contact stress effective cycles. Additionally, this research carried out materials under different treatment processes for contact fatigue test, Observation and analysis of test results. Get regulation about the influence of different processing technology on the material contact fatigue properties.Combined with the test results, this research mainly used time domain analysis method. Through the analyzing of the time domain parameter in the process of test, to establish the corresponding model between the time-domain parameters and material contact fatigue process. Select the fault data and use wavelet noise reduction method to reduce the effects of noise on the fault signal. Using the cepstrum analysis methods to analyze the fault signal which after the noise reduction processing, extract the characteristic value compare with theoretical calculation of the fault characteristic frequency, get information about failure parts and realize fault diagnosis.
