In recent years, with the rapid development of IoT(Internet of Things) technology, vehicle networking technology becomes the research focus to solve the urban road traffic problem. Vehicle positioning technology is the core technology of the entire vehicle networking system, traditional vehicle positioning technology uses GPS positioning technology, although the GPS has a higher positioning accuracy, but it will be easy to lose the satellites when the satellites are blocked, it can not achieve accurate positioning and satisfy the complex traffic environment of urban roads. So, for the deficiency of existing vehicle positioning system, this thesis researched the algorithm of integrated navigation of the vehicle positioning system in vehicle networking and the design and implementation of the system with hardware and software.First of all, this thesis analyzed the background and significance and the domestic and foreign research situation of vehicle positioning system in vehicle networking, illustrated the key technologies that the positioning system needed. Then analysed the functional requirements and presented the overall design of the vehicle positioning system, emphasized the design principle and process of positioning system integrated navigation filter, the positioning system used loosely coupled integrated navigation mode, through the error analysis of integrated navigation, the thesis established the system error state equation and the measurement equation, used Kalman filtering method to fuse data for integrated navigation system.Secondly, positioning system hardware and software design is divided into two parts, car terminals and control center. The thesis illustrated the hardware platform structure of positioning system, explained the performance parameters of main control module, positioning module, SINS module and communication module, designed the software structure and function of car terminals and control center individually, used C++programming language to accomplish the design of positioning system data collection, algorithm of integrated navigation, mapping development, user interface and wireless network communication.Finally, the thesis carried out real vehicle test and analyzed experimental results. Through the contrast between the trajectory of moving car and the trajectory of test plan, the trajectory of moving car by GPS navigation and the trajectory of moving car by GPS/SINS integrated navigation, the thesis verified the effectiveness of the integrated navigation algorithm, achieved the software functions of vehicle real-time positioning, traveling track inquiring and vehicle online management by the test of software functions, verified the feasibility of positioning system, fulfill the expected development and design requirements of the paper.
