With China’s rapid development of economics, the process of urbanization made great acceleration, and Chinese cities are in the process of fast spatial restructuring. Because of the urban and rural dual structure system which formed in the Chinese long history, the downtown of big city gathered higher quality of infrastructure and service resources, which attracted a large number of population inhabited in there. The continuous development of urbanization made people concentrated in big cities, and urban land use scale expands unceasingly, as a result, the problem of urban disease also gradually highlights. The State Council put forward the "New Urbanization Strategy" in 2014, which aims to attract people to live in the small and medium-sized cities and relieve the population of big cities through the development of small and medium-sized cities. To learn the preference to infrastructures of people lived in downtown when they choose to live in satellite city in the background of "New Urbanization Strategy", this paper analyzed the relationship between urban land use, transportation and residential location choice behaviors. And it analyzed the influence of the accessibility of health care, education, commercial infrastructures and employment on residents lived in downtown of Chengdu when they choose to live in satellite cities. And this paper took family social and economic characters into consideration to form a comprehensive orthogonal SP questionnaire. And then, discrete choice model was established for quantitative analysis on the basis of a large number of surveys.According to the calculation results of the model, the accessibility of hospital, school, commercial facility, subway station, and time to downtown or workplace all have significant effect on the choice behavior of people in downtown when they choose to live in satellite cities. Among them, time to downtown or workplace has the largest effects on choice behavior. What’s more, families with more members or lower income have lower willingness to emigrate to satellite cities. However, families are relatively more likely to migrate to satellite city when they have private cars. In addition, according to the features of family constitution, the paper divided families into 5 types using the method of Category Analysis. It concluded that couple families prefer live in the places which near the subway station and have a better accessibility to the downtown. Families with kids and old men prefer live in the places which have a better accessibility to hospitals. For the sensitivity analysis of infrastructure accessibility, the commercial infrastructure accessibility have the most significant impact for unit compared to other infrastructures, which presented that when the time increased by 1 minute, the corresponding emigration probability decreased by 2.08%. And the emigration probability increased by 11.36% when family got a private car. For 5 types of families, family with the old man without children has the highest emigration probability of 29.2%, the couple family has the lowest emigration probability of 17.1%.And on the basis of these analyses, infrastructures and transportation development policies are put forward for satellite city in view of different travel demand.
