In general circumstances, the demand for hot water and cool air is great in commercial kitchen applied process, and the high energy consumption is a great drawback of conventional air conditioner and water heater. If the cooling capacity generated by air source heat pump water heater would be recovered for commercial kitchen air temperature conditioning, the system energy efficiency will increase. Therefore, aimed at efficiently meeting the demand for hot water and cold air in the commercial kitchen, this paper carried on a research on energy-saving control and efficient operation of air-conditioning heat pump water heater.Firstly, this paper described and analyzed the basic principles of heat pump water heater system, and analyzed the internal feature of heat pump system based on the flow and thermodynamic analysis models of the basic components of heat pump cycle. And this paper also described and analyzed the efficiency analysis models for estimating the performance of heat pump water heater system. According to the principles and models, energy-saving and efficient operation research means were mainly decided to be further experimental studies on the opening regulation strategy and control logic algorithms of electronic expansion valve.Heat pump water heater experimental apparatus was set up, and the hardware circuit and procedures of its control system were designed, and accomplished according to the actual needs. This paper briefly described the heat pump water heater main components and the building of experimental equipment, and elaborated the principles of circuit modules and devices choosing principles.In the experimental study, firstly explored the impact of different electronic expansion valve opening to the evaporator superheat and system energy efficiency performance. After analysis and appraisal, selected the fuzzy control algorithm to control electronic expansion valve opening adjustment for the target evaporator superheat. This paper designed run processes of heat pump water heater system and electronic expansion valve fuzzy controller. By comparing system efficiency parameters with different target superheat, this paper got the heat pump water heater system optimization control settings, and got the conclusion that the system achieves the better heating and cooling effect and has a certain adaptability, stability and anti-jamming capability.Through theoretical analysis and experimental research, the heat pump air-conditioning water heater can achieve better energy efficiency than conventional heat pump system, and the application of fuzzy control in the opening regulation control of the electronic expansion valve by a given superheat can enable the system to adapt to changing working conditions and run efficiently and stably.
