Characteristic Analysis And Structure Optimization Of Permanent Magnetic Speed Governor

Radial permanent magnet governor is a device of governor that transfer torque by using eddy current effect and by adjusting the coupling area to adjust the speed. Through the study of the air gap magnetic field analysis and the output torque of the radial permanent governor, the results can provide a theoretical basis for the permanent governor radial magnetic field of study and select the permanent governor configuration parameters.This paper introduces the background and significance of the permanent governor studies and analyzes and compares the current project three common speeder:fluid coupling, Variable-frequency Drive(VFD), the permanent governor. Then the material and the permanent magnet electromagnetic theory is briefly introduced, and described in detail herein magnetic circuit. Then use a two-dimensional model finite element analysis software Ansoft Maxwell establish radial permanent governor, establish the permanent magnetic circuit by using the governor’s equivalent magnetic circuit, and the impact of structural parameters of the output torque of the finite element simulation. In order to better analyze radial permanent governor from the nip of the magnetic field and conductor eddy current density distribution, using Ansoft Maxwell for the permanent governor to establish three-dimensional finite element analysis model and analysis its static and transient air gap magnetic field and the conductor eddy current density were studied. Finally, through the study of the permanent governor structural parameters of the existing radial permanent governor structure parameters selection, and the magnetic field distribution of the permanent governor was verified after the selection. Finally, through the study of structural parameters of the permanent governor, optimize the structure of radial permanent magnet of governor parameters, verify the correctness of the permanent governor optimized magnetic field distribution.Through the calculation of radial permanent magnetic field at the gap from the governor and the output torque of the analysis, discusses the structural parameters of radial permanent governor operating characteristics, and the structure parameters of the radial permanent governor were reselection.
