Feasibility Study Of Railway Line Project Zhengzhou To Wanzhou

Feasibility analysis is a means of project decision and analysis commonly used in project management both at home and abroad to effectively forecast and determine project feasibility. As a kind of pre-assessment of project investment, it is widely used especially in the filed of project construction and tends to involve increasing integration and correlation between different disciplines and fields.This paper focuses on analyzing the feasibility of Zhengzhou-Wanzhou Railway Project. First, it describes basic information on the project, the method and content of feasibility study applied in this paper and the developments of feasibility study at home and abroad. Second, it introduces the overall conditions, construction background and significance of the studied project, analyzes internal and external environment of the project using SWOT method and discusses the necessity of the project construction. Third, it analyzes the feasibility from technical conditions and environmental impact of project construction and from such aspects as construction period, investment estimate, financing scheme and economic assessment of the project in an all-round and systematic way. Last, it draws feasibility conclusions of the project from comprehensive analysis and determination.This paper gives feasibility solutions to and suggestions for the problems identified by examining basic conditions of the project including economic, technical, social and environmental aspects using fundamental theories and methods of feasibility study from the perspective of project management pre-assessment which leads to identification of project advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and threats. The study ideas and methods in this paper can be used for reference in future feasibility study on similar projects.
