As people increasingly concerned to low-carbon life nowadays, solar energy as a kind of renewable energy with safety, clean and non-polluting features has become a hottest green energy which substituted for coal and oil power-generating undoubtedly. Photovoltaic fan as an important product of solar energy industry, which solved basic living problems in China or Africa where sunny but lack of transmission equipment to improve the living standard. At the same time, it solved the airiness and improve the air quality of spacious industrial plants, logistics storage and overcrowded waiting room and market. Therefore, it goes without saying that PV fan drive’s great social benefits is self-evident.This paper makes a deep research and analysis of the characteristics of photovoltaic fan drive, and then according to the selected appropriate systematic solutions and integral structure, designs the topology structure design of hardware circuit, writes the software programs of the control system, and tests the PV fan drive. This paper describes in detail the design of the modules which consist of PV fan drive and related key technology, besides according to the reliability, stability and economy indexes, it deeply analyzes the hardware and software of PV fan drive from the system point of view and optimize the systems.The main content of this paper includes:1. This paper describes in detail the integral structure of PV fan drive and select the hardware circuit topology structure as a master controller based on STM32F103VET6.2. This paper designs the hardware circuit of PV fan drive. According to the basic principle of the maximum power point tracking and the basis of researching and analyzing of the traditional MPPT algorithm, it improve and optimize the perturbation and observation methods and design the MPPT implementation methods which fit for our system.3. This paper describes in detail the intelligent control circuit and the software control strategy of battery, and design the charging circuit and extended interface. After researching and analyzing the common battery charging management, it designs an optimized four-stage charging methods.4. This paper improves the software design of data-sampling and increases the data precision.5. This paper completes the designing and writing of the main program and each subroutine of the PV fan drive and gets a good result by actual testing.
