Grid fin is a new type of stability control surface which is formed by the outer frame and a large number of thin wall grid. The effective lifting area is large, the pressure center is small, with high strength and reliability, and the grid wing can be folded, which is convenient for storage and transportation. Grid fins are reticular structure, the obvious disadvantage is that the wind resistance large, is not conducive to obtaining higher lift drag ratio; in transonic flight stage, due to the wall between the shock cross interference with each other, resulting in airflow obstruction, the windward resistance to change; when the angle of attack increased to seek to lift larger at the same time, the resistance also increases.The resistance of the wind has become the main problem that hinders the wide application of grid fins. Therefore, the design of drag reduction of grid fins becomes one of the key problems in the research of the aerodynamic characteristics of grid fins.In this paper, several common grid wing structures are briefly introduced, and the research progress of grid fin theory and related theory are summarized. By reference to the domestic and foreign relevant research documents, the structure characteristics and drag reduction scheme of grid fins are described.The after a large number of access to domestic and foreign grid fin gas dynamic characteristics and structural design of the relevant literature, in previous of grid fin excellent structure and reducing resistance scheme to explore the premise, combined with grid fin overall swept, swept leading edge, before and after the grid wall edge sharpening and so on drag reduction scheme, through CATIA 3D graphics software completed the design of six kinds of different modes of grid fin model. By the CFD software of 6 kinds of different grid fin model were in flow Mach number is 0.5Ma, glaciation, 2 Ma, 3 Ma,Ma attack angle of 8 degrees when the aerodynamic characteristics of the simulation calculation, comprehensive comparison of the six different models of grid fin gas dynamiccharacteristics.
