Belt conveyor is the most important equipment for conveying and handing bulk materials It has been widely used in large coal mine, port terminal,power plant,metallurgic industry and chemica industry, food and other industries in national economy. In order to meet the needs of modern industrial production, conveyor systems are expected to large-capacity, long distance, high speed, high efficiency, intelligent control of transmission direction. In order to reduce the cost of tape and decline the high powermotor start on the impact of the power grid, conveyor belt is often used multi-motor in the design of belt conveyor system. Multi-motor power balance of belt conveyor system is a fundamental problem in the coordinated control; it causees the researchers’extensive research interesting at home and abroad. This paper’s research project is on this background-Multi-motor Coordination Control of Large Belt Conveyor Based on the MFAC,power balance of belt conveyor is an example in this project.Analyzesed the previous control on multi-motor coordination control structures and power balance control algorithm of actual project strategy. Control structure based on the coupling of multi-motor control structure is selected. Power balance strategy is the current power balance method Control algorithm is the CFDL-MFAC.The algorithm is able to track the desired output signal fast, and does not depend on the mathematical model of the systeml,and control algorithm is simple. Research object is selected in the article-excited DC motor, control goal is power balance.This paper test the performance of CFDL-MFAC in three typical system,and compares the control performance with PID controller. New algorithm has the fast dynamic response,little overshoot and enters steady state characteristics in short time, and has a quick output response for time-varying parameter, unknown system’s models and changing in the structure of the system. Test performance is better than the PID control At last,simulate the power balance of two motor system with different parameters in Matlab/Simulink environment The simulation system with CFDL-MFAC controller has the same current and speed.Power balance controllers using CFDL-MFAC can complete power balance in belt conveyor.
