With the rapid development of smart city, the emergence of new Wireless communication technology provided to upgrade opportunity again for intelligent transportation systems (ITS) developing. As one of advanced technologies of ITS, connected vehicle (CV) provides an effective way for solving urban traffic congestion and improving traffic efficiency using the wireless commuication and new internet technology into city traffic. Location Based Services (LBS) is one of applied field of cooperative vehicle infrastructure technology, using a lot of Wireless sensor network come from intelligent city, we can realize effective monitoring of traffic flow running state, Improve the efficiency and safety of the vehicle. Therefore the study on vehicle wireless positioning methods under cooperative vehicle infrastructure environment has important practical significance for improving traffic efficiency and safety.In this paper, vehicle wireless positioning fusion algorithm schemes, which is adapt to actual CV environment, was studied on the basis of error analysis of wireless positioning methods. First of all, the main study content and idea of paper was proposed on the basis of summarizing about wireless positioning methods research at home and abroad. The vehicle wireless positioning methods theories were expounded from its evaluation index applicability. Then, the classic wireless positioning propagation distance-loss model was introduced, the logarithm propagation distance model used in the paper was calibrated and the impact factor sensitivity was analyzed,3σ criterion and wavelet transform were used to correct results error of logarithm propagation distance model. The precision of many classic wireless positioning methods was analyzed by using practical data, and the relationship between positioning error and distance error was studied. On the above base, weighting factor was designed based on the distance error and positioning error. Therefore, vehicle wireless positioning fusion algorithm schemes was proposed based on the error weighting and the positioning theory, and the logical process and calculation steps were expounded. In combination with collected experimental data from actual road in CV environment, the effectiveness of the vehicle wireless positioning fusion algorithm schemes was verified, the effect of this fusion algorithm precise based on two positioning methods of range and range-free were compared and analyzed, the effectiveness of the fusion algorithm schemes was verified. At the same time, the effect of distance propagation model impact factor on the fusion algorithm precise was also analyzed. At last, the paper study content was summarized and expect.The verified results shown that the vehicle wireless positioning fusion algorithm scheme can position vehicle in actual CV environment. Position precision under a 67% chance can reach 46.31 m and under a 95% chance r can reach 122.53 m. Its positioning accuracy is 39.97m. Precision improved by 8.38% and 21.49% respectively, comparing with other two positioning methods of range and range-free fusion schemes. It has significance superiority in positioning precision. The analysis results of distance propagation model impact factor to fusion algorithm precise shown, with the change of distance-loss model impact factor, the positioning accuracy, the positioning accuracy are showing a lower trend. It means that model parameters calibration have reasonable values, making the fusion algorithm the optimal location accuracy.
