Power system is the key to the design of the formula racing car, and it is the guarantee of excellent dynamic project performance. At present the race team of our university even most teams of universities in China have been using is single motor power system, Formula car that equipped with double motor driving system reduces power system components such as the differential. It is conducive to compact the car compact layout, but also improve the power system transmission efficiency, but the control difficulty increases. Based on the accumulation of years R&D technology and experience of the electric racing car of GDUT, a preliminary research is made on the double motor power system of formula car.This paper mainly in the double-motor car driving dynamics analysis and control strategy, the double motor drive system theoretical parameters design and performance simulation validation aspects research work, specific as follows:Firstly, based on the analysis of several factors should be taken into account in formula car power system structure layout, and the analysis comparison of the merit and demerit of various schemes, double motor power system is put forward. The dynamic research on the linear driving and turning of the double motor racing car is carried out, and the synchronous control of the motor and the electronic differential control are studied, and the strategy are put forward.Secondly, analyzing the contest project characteristics, reference domestic and international racing team and our team the previous racing R&D experience, determine the racing car parameters and performance indicators, theoretical design and calculation the parameters and matching of motor, battery and other components of the double-motor power system.Finally, double-motor formula car simulation model is established in Cruise simulation software, setting computing tasks, and in accordance with the previous contest data to establish the track conditions, simulation test was carried out on the power performance and fuel economy. The results show that meet the expected performance index, verify the parameters design of double motor power system and the rationality of the simulation model.
