Exploration And Expretion Of Regional Culture In Urban Landscape Design

The culture is possessed of very important in urban landscape design. At present, the urban construction has developed quickly in our country and the face of our city has been changing with each passing day. However, the growth of economic also brings impact to our culture. Facing the powerful foreign culture, some of us were not understood the essences and had a blind worship of it. On the other hand, for the heritage and development of Chinese culture, many people became more and more indifferently and even gave up the connotation research of regional culture. Eventually, this caused the urban landscape seem to be all the same and made the regional culture face crises. Those reflected the problems in our current urban construction. Regional culture is the inner symbol of a city, so it should be explored and expressed in the urban landscape design. This thesis adopted the research method combined theoretical study and practice section. What is important is that this thesis gives the discussion of how to exploring and expressing the regional culture in the urban landscape systematically, scientifically and objectively, it also summarizes a full set of application methods of regional culture in the landscape.(1) Based on the regional culture, landscape and relevant theories, the thesis analyzes the role of the regional culture in urban landscape and their relationships.(2) Discussing the different types of regional culture, as well as the principles and methods of mining and extracting the regional culture in the urban landscape design, and illustrating the expression vector, principle and methods of the regional culture in urban landscape. The thesis explores the problems of mining and extracting the regional culture in the urban landscape design and how to solve it.(3) Taking the Qianweizhihui Nation Wetland Park as an example, discusses the expression methods of regional culture in the urban landscape design from two aspects-unique geographical environments and the humanity history, Summing up its core reginal culture is Qin culture. Meanwhile, discussing and analyzing the mining and extracting methods in urban landscape design and putting it into practice.Urban landscape is the long-last vitality cultural carrier in bearing the weight of the urban culture and also a significant camp to express the regional culture. Through the research of the regional culture and urban landscape design in this dissertation, hopefully it can enrich and perfect the relevant content of urban landscape design and provide certain guidance for mining and expressing of regional culture in urban landscape design. Meanwhile, hope this dissertation can play an active driving role in the further development of urban landscape.
