In recent years, thanks to the development of our country, the construction of resource engineering and traffic facilities have been developing rapidly, which make the tunnel project occupy an increasingly important position in the construction of basic facilities. However, due to the complex geological conditions in our country, especially in the Southwest region, frequent geological disasters are not only bring difficulties to the tunnel project, but also seriously threaten the safety of construction personnel’s property. In the process of tunnel construction, the tunnel geological prediction has become a very important part in tunnel construction to ensure the quality of construction equipment in normal operation and the safety of construction workers.Bluetooth technology is a new wireless communication technology in recent years. It can realize the short distance communication between devices and is widely used in telephone system, wireless cable and other electronic devices. At the same time, among all the water detection methods, the induced polarization method has been used as a method and is well used in construction. Induced polarization method is a kind of electrical prospecting method to detect the water content in the soil, which is based on the excitation polarization effect of soil, rock and so on. The detector discussed in this paper is based on the principle of induced polarization, using the secondary current method to detect and identify water sources, which can determine the water structure and the location of water structure, even the size of water. The detector stimulates the data by Bluetooth to the computer which collect by the method of polarization method. It greatly simplifies the connection between devices and enhances the reliability of the equipment.The main content of this paper is to design a DC water detector based on Bluetooth technology. The paper discusses the main theory used on the detector. Firstly, the paper introduces the principle of induced polarization and Bluetooth technology, analyzing the effectiveness of the method in terms water detection. Secondly, the paper introduces the design scheme of the detector and each part of the detector; Then the paper design the detector in the aspect of signal collection, conversion, storage, transmission from the level of hardware and software. Finally, we test the detector in the simulation of tunnel and analyze the experimental results.
