Thrombosis is threat to human health because it’s easy recurrence and high disability. According to statistics, the diseases caused by thrombus have been the first killer in the world to human life. More than ten million people had thrombosis in Chine. So it is particularly necessary to develop a convenient, fast and continuous equipment to monitor thrombosis, along with family and Miniaturization developing of medical instruments. Near infrared spectroscopy(NIRS) can noninvasively, continuously and real time dynamically monitor hemodynamic parameters. It shows great advantages that detect vascular disease by NIRS technology. In our research we did a preliminary exploration of using near-infrared spectroscopy(NIRS) in clinical monitoring of deep vein thrombosis(DVT) after we completed the instrument design.Firstly, we studied the relative quantity algorithm of blood and find the extinction coefficient for Asians. Theoretically demonstrate the feasibility that monitor calf DVT after did the photon transmission simulation by MCVM, the result of this simulation also give theoretical support for design the optical probe.Then, we designed the hardware and software system of our equipment. We designed the probe plate using flexible circuit technology for the hardware circuit, taking into account the diversity of human tissue morphology, and in order to make the light source and detector closer to the skin. The main functions of hardware circuit board function are demand-driven light sources, data acquisition and data transmission. Using STM’s STM32F103RBT6 as main control chip, TI’s high-precision analog-digital conversion chip ADS8326 as analog to digital conversion chip and wireless solution use by SI4463 module. Designed double wired and wireless scheme of communication while taking into account the electromagnetic interference is high to requirements of hospital equipment. The development tool used to design the MCU software is keil ARM’s family of software, and using NI virtual instrument software development company Labwindows / CVI to develop PC software. Both parts are written in C language. Based Labwindows / CVI development of PC software has the characteristics of fully functional, stable performance, user-friendly. Last, generation PC software installation file for easy use by others.Lastly, we did a series performance test when the equipment system is completed. All the results of tests verified the equipment has a good performance. Then using the thrombus monitoring system for clinical test. Clinical data shows that using NIRS technology to detect calf DVT in patients of relative concentration of oxygenated hemoglobin, and deoxydgenated hemoglobin with normal leg and diseased leg concentration is relatively significant difference. The relative concentration of oxyhemoglobin has a series of complex changes when clinical monitoring a DVT patients who just during treatment. These results, which shows that NIRS technology have great potential in monitor thrombosis.
