Under seismic force, the displacement or deformation and dynamic response of slope at each position has an important influence on the stability of the slope, which can be studied by designing shaking table model test. From the test we can summarize laws and conclusions to guide the engineering practice. The thesis is based on plateau highway in Garze of the national highway G317 as engineering background, selecting landslide hazard work sites, combining with its genesis and structure and other characteristics to design the shaking table model test of layered soil slope. Based on the results of different combinations of layered slope model test analysis, we can know the displacement and deformation situation and the inside acceleration dynamic responses of the slope under different seismic waves. We should first analyze the results of each model test to explore the relationship among the deformation and peak ground acceleration responses of slope and the factors of loading conditions, compositions and so on of the slope, summary the laws and characteristics of slope failure mechanism and the dynamic responses of slope as well as the relationship with the seismic loading conditions. Then comparing the results among model tests and exploring the differences in the deformation and the dynamic responses of varied layered slope under the same loading conditions. At the same time, combining with the results of the test to determine which constitute of the slope is more conductive to the earthquake. Then combining with relevant literatures and theoretical simply analysis dynamic response of slope and the causes for deformation leading to the slope failure combining with the strength of the soil material.Displacement and deformation can be calculate under theories. The thesis based on one model test used the method of Newmark to calculate of permanent deformation displacement under seismic waves, comparing theoretical results with the actual results to explore whether the Newmark method is suitable for the calculation of layered soil slope permanent displacement.
