The aerodynamic parameters of projectiles and rockets are the most important factors to projectile trajectory. It is the first and foremost task that how to get accurate missile aerodynamic parameters, in the process of design and development of missile.This paper introduced and analyzes several commonly used system identification methods, based on the theory of system identification, and put forward a new identification method of aerodynamic parameter, which is based on the least squares method, by using the parameter identification method, to obtain accurate trajectory from the measured data; With the aid of Isight optimization software, a simple and flexible method of aerodynamic parameter identification is presented。 Firstly, the design variables, objective function and sample data format of the method are determined; Then, the simulation calculation of aerodynamic parameters identification is based on several commonly used optimization algorithms;Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the identification method are verified,and the optimization algorithm used in the identification method is confirmed.The factors affecting the accuracy and efficiency of aerodynamic parameter identification are analyzed, and the sample interval and design variable data points density are two important factors, which are analyzed in detail. By using the simulation results of the identification and Simulation of the sampling time interval and the design variable data point density in different situations, a set of values which can ensure the accuracy and ensure the efficiency of the identification is selected.Moreover, in order to verify the feasibility of the aerodynamic parameter identification method in practical engineering application,to measured as the sample data,aerodynamic parameter identification operation and the calculation results and the measured ballistic metadata are compared and analyzed,to determine the identification method in the practicalengineering application is feasible.The content of this paper has practical significance.
