This subject comes from 973 Project (Tokamak fast control power supply control system and branch of the prototype design), superconducting Tokamak device as a national "Ninth Five Year Plan" major scientific projects has important significance on nuclear fusion experimental research work of our country. EAST fast control power supply generates a magnetic field by the active feedback coil excitation, so as to control the rapid drift of the plasma in the vertical direction, achieve rapid equilibrium and positioning of the plasma in vertical direction, improve the ability of magnetic field on plasma constraint. The biggest characteristic of EAST fast control power supply is high power and fast dynamic response, restricted by the existing manufacturing technology, power handling capacity and switching frequency of the power electronic device is contradictory. Therefore, the performance and running state of high power electronic device in H bridge directly affect the output current and then affect the effect of tracking a given waveform.Because of EAST system has very high requirements on a number of indicators of fast control power supply, such as response time and signal tracking performance, and expect to continuous improvement, at the same time, the system is more complex, and the power to EAST experiment is extremely important, so for the EAST fast control power system fault of rapid, accurate positioning put forward higher requirements. This paper establish EAST fast control power supply main circuit model on the RT-LAB semi physical simulation platform, main circuit model and the external hardware circuit constitute the closed-loop feedback loop, realize the function of EAST fast control power supply, the hardware in the loop simulation experiment get the desired results, show that the feasibility and accuracy of RT-LAB simulation model. At the same time, the H bridge failure state in the main circuit of the fast control power supply is simulated. By recording and analyzing the output voltage and current waveform of the fast control power supply under the fault condition, the waveform Library of the fault state is formed, which provides the basis for the quick determination of the location of the fault.
