Because of the flood and waterlogging disasters are random and uncertain. It is very significant to analyze the spatial and temporal distribution of rainstorm and to research the storm intensity formula. In this paper, based on the rainfall observation data of 56 rainfall stations from 1980 to 2013 in lu’an city. We choose Kriging interpolation, wavelet analysis, MK mutation test and use matlab and Excel software for analysis. Through the study, the main conclusions show that:By calculating the rainfall sequence, the average annual rainfall of Lu’an city is 1253.5mm. In the 34 years, annual storm rainfall, annual rainfall and annual rainstorm day are presented decreasing trend. The annual rainfall exists 18 years periodic variation, In addition there is a short period of about 7 years. The annual storm rainfall and annual rainstorm days exists 18 years periodic variation, In addition there is a short period of about 4 years.In space, the city’s annual storm rainfall, annual rainfall and annual rainstorm day are presented decreasing trend from the southwest to the northeast direction. The minimum values are distributed in Yan Liu Miao, Wabu, Xiaodian of Shou County, the maximum values are distributed in Tianhe, Taipingfan, Qiaobianhe, Wudian of Jinzhai County. According to statistical analysis on the data of 56 rainfall stations, percentage of annual rainstorm in annual rainfall is between 16% to 33%. The number of annual rainstorm days in the various stations is between 1.6 to 4.9 days.In this paper, we choose the annual maximum sampling method. According to the relevant literature,we choose exponential distribution and Gumbel distribution as the curve fitting method.Based on matlab and other software,we select Quasi-Newton method to calculate parameters of rainstorm intensity formula and to calculate the error. In the end, the formula is compared with the original formula. The results show that the formula is more accurate than the current formula.
