Building aseismic in addition to taking reasonable structure form and strengthening the structure, also can be applied to structural vibration control technology. Structure vibration control facilities can control or adjust the structure of the dynamic characteristics. This paper selects the piezoelectric friction dampers on the structure vibration control to build intelligent control system.The selection of intelligent control algorithm for piezoelectric friction damper has a decisive effect. This paper uses the fuzzy control algorithm to control damper. Fuzzy control system is designed according to experience. Genetic algorithm is a kind of method simulating natural evolution and searching the optimal solution. This paper sets up the coding method, fitness function of genetic algorithm and genetic operation, verifies the feasibility of genetic algorithm.This paper establishs fuzzy control system of 3-story and 9-story nonlinear steel building in MATLAB/Simulink software. It uses genetic algorithm to optimize membership function of fuzzy control and the scaling factor in the GADS tools, gets the fuzzy control system adapting to 3-story and 9-story nonlinear steel building. Simulating the input seismic wave in the control system, the fuzzy control of piezoelectric friction dampers can reduce the seismic response. The fuzzy control optimized by the genetic algorithm is adjusted, and improves the control effect.Damper configuration can deeply affect the effect of vibration. In this paper, genetic algorithm is improved. Three weighting coefficients of the objective function are proposed. On the 9-story nonlinear steel building fuzzy control system, this paper uses genetic algorithm to optimize the location of the damper and the number of damper in the GADS tools. Different damper configuration schemes are obtained. Simulation results show that the damper configuration optimized, compared with the damper configuration before optimization, can more effectively inhibit the seismic response of the nonlinear structure.
