In today’s society, the problem of environmental pollution has become increasingly prominent, how to reduce pollutant emissions, meanwhile energy shortage becoming more and more obvious, and vigorously develop green transportation has become an important way to solve the problem. Electric bicycle adapt to the trend of the time, which using green non-polluting electric energy as a power source, light weight design. With a stable and efficient application of automatic control technology in price can also meet the consumption level of residents, has became the majority of people’s primary means of transportation and gained popularity.Based on the traditional manpower pedal driven two wheeled vehicle, electric bicycle is effective running velocity through the speed regulating motor drives the rear wheel and the front wheel to rotate. At present, the electric bicycle motor is with brush and without brush motor, with the development of technology in recent years, since do not need mechanical commutator, with long service life and free maintenance, high reliability, energy saving etc. Brushless dc motor in the application of electric bicycle proportion is growing and has much improvement in performance, but the biggest problem is battery life also need to longer. In the low end of the market, most of the motor adopts traditional PWM drive, although simple control, low cost, it can not avoid the torque ripple and vibration noise problems. Using space vector pulse width modulation technology can solve these problems pretty well, and can improve the utilization rate of voltage. Based on the analysis of the electric bicycle drive system theory, to develop motor control system with high efficiency and energy saving.In this paper,firstly, described the electric bicycle at home and abroad from the beginning to the popularity of the process of the situation, the relevant applications, focusing on the advantages of new technology and the main direction of the current scientific research personnel. The basic mechanism of Brushless DC motor is briefly described. The principle of rotation is analyzed in detail, and the mathematical model of the motor is set up, and the control strategy and control strategy are analyzed. Secondly, to familiar the control theory of space vector pulse width modulation technology, vector control technology, the actual use of the process to make a detailed description and analysis. By the tool of MATLAB/Simulink tool to build a simulation model of the brushless DC motor vector control system, then design a ST company of meaning law semiconductor production based on STM32 MCU series electric bicycle control system, the completion of the overall hardware structures, PCB drawing, plate making and write code, debug, and the algorithm programming application. Choose the Holzer sensor detection to achieve the purpose of position detection, using the space vector pulse width modulation technology, through the three-phase current detection through a series of conversion to achieve the purpose of torque control. Finally, by the analysis of the signal waveform and the experimental results, the feasibility of a new type of electric bicycle control system with excellent performance and low cost is verified, and the design requirements of the project are achieved.
