SRD (Switched Reluctance Drive) is composed by SRM (Switched Reluctance Motor), controller, power converter, current sensor and position sensor. As the SRD has the advantages of AC asynchronous motor excellent speed regulating performance and the performance of the dc motor speed regulation system control,it has a great application prospect. This paper studies a kind of two parallel switch reluctance motor drive system which is a single controller control of double motor speed control system, this system is used in the electric traction coal cars.In this paper, the simulation model of double SRM control system is established by using MATLAB/SIMULINK. The simulation studies of the SRD system model of double motor control system, verify the feasibility of operation scheme of double motor, provide a good foundation for the motor control system hardware circuit design and software program design.The hardware circuit design of the two motor control system is based on the S3C2440A as the core and the MOSFET as the main switch; The photoelectric position sensor is used to detect the rotor position angle, and the power converter is used as the basis to provide the guide clearance signal, and the speed feedback signal is calculated from the position angle; The current value of the motor’s Each phase is detected by Holzer current detector.The language of the software design is C language programming, by the subroutine of speed controlling, the subroutine of current regulation and the subroutine of power balance controlling etc, the system completed the motor soft start, rapid braking, current chopping control movement process.Finally, the software and hardware of this control system in this paper has been verified. The results basically meet the design requirements, and verify the reliability of the system design.
