| With the development of our national economy, and increasing levels of China’s steel production and technology, Steel housing used more widely, cold-formed steel has become the development direction of the steel structure housing. Now, cold-formed steel has been more widely used in developed countries, mainly for the construction of low-rise residential buildings residential. Cold-formed steel has high strength and light weight, and it can be distributed in the form of a reasonable cross-section of the best materials needed to produce. This paper, using the binding manner of theoretical research, experimental studies and nonlinear finite element analysis, had done a low cyclic loading experiment of four types of full scale cold-formed thin-walled C steel truss beam-column joint, and study force performance, seismic performance and M-θ curve of these types of joints under the load. In the experiment using two types to connect cold-formed thin-walled C steel truss beam and "back to back" column, namely the angle connections and terminal board connections, then the two types of specimens used different welding methods for reprocessing, forming a total of four types of joint specimens. After the completion of the experiment, according to experiment various types of experimental data obtained on the capacity, stiffness, ductility and other aspects of various types of specimens were analyzed in detail, and using a linear model to fit the curves obtained from the experimental data.In the finite element simulation, first of all according to four types of specimen experiment conducted by the relevant model, the finite element simulation and experimental results are reviewed to verify the correctness of the finite element model, shows that out of the simulation results and experimental the results obtained are very similar. By finite element analysis, four types of specimens stress were analyzed, but also according to the simulation data for several types of specimens moment-rotation curve fitting three-parameter model. In order to further explore the characteristics of semi-rigid cold-formed thin-walled C steel truss beam-column joint, binding experiments and finite element simulation results of moment-rotation curves, each node specimen obtained two models of initial stiffness and maximum bending moment capacity, subsequent to the two models for a detailed comparison to find out the relationship between the location, recommended value obtained initial stiffness reduction factors.Based on cold-formed thin-walled C steel truss Beam-column joint experiment and finite element simulation research and analysis, this paper come to certain conclusions and summary results of this research. We hope that results of this research can provide a reference node in actual engineering design and construction for the cold-formed steel in the future. |
