With the large increase of nonlinear loads in the power system, harmonic waves and reactive current pollution to the grid have become increasingly serious. The use of active power filter for harmonic suppression and reactive power compensation is an effective means to reduce the power grid pollution. This thesis describes the use of Matlab automatic code generation technology, quickly and efficiently complete the design of active power filter, automatic code generation technology has advantages of shorting development cycle, and integrate simulation and control. System simulation and experiment have test the feasibility of this method.First, this thesis briefly describes the electric harmonic definition, production and harm, and harmonic suppression method research status and active power filter, introduces the basic principles and classification of active power filter. Harmonic detection method based on instantaneous reactive power theory is introduced, and make simulation for single-phase and three-phase harmonic current detection circuit.Secondly, due to the low-pass filter is an important component of instantaneous reactive power harmonic current detection algorithm. In order to achieve rapid design and verification of low-pass filter effects, this thesis describes the use of Matlab FDATool to design low-pass filter. According to Matlab system simulation, the parameters and types of low pass filters were studied.Thirdly, this thesis briefly compares the triangular wave carrier and hysteresis control current control method, and for the triangular wave carrier and hysteresis control method, Matlab Simulink toolbox is used to build a software simulation system of active power filter. The PI+repetitive control is also studied and simulated.In addition, based on Matlab automatic code generation technology, focusing on the method of establishing Matlab automatic code generation 64-bit development environment, describe in detail how to use the Matlab code generation technology, procedures and precautions. TMS320F28335 controller is used to complete the embedding code generation control program and the program codes is downloaded into DSP controller automatically. Based on APF hardware platform, hardware is debugged and experimental phenomena is analyzed. Experimental results show that, Matlab automatic code generation technology can eliminate the tedious manual programming process, simulation and control systems have a good correspondence.Finally, this thesis also discusses T-type three-level technology briefly, makes system simulation for T-type three-level topology for photovoltaic inverter and static var generator. It also describes the hardware design of the conditioning circuit board.
