The horizontal axis wind turbine is one of the major forms of wind energy utilization. In wind turbines, the blade directly affect the conversion efficiency of wind energy and the annual generating capacity of wind turbines, wind energy is an important part. At the same time, the blade is an important part of the unit, the reasonable design of the blade and the normal and stable operation of the wind power group directly affect the investment income of the wind farm.In this paper, The study and design of blade aerodynamic shape for 200kW horizontal axis wind turbine as the research object, this article research content including:The basic aerodynamic theory of wind turbine blades, including one-dimensional momentum theory, Bates theory, blade element theory. Also studied wind turbine blade aerodynamic shape design methods, including simplified design methods and Glauert method.In this paper, the design of the blade airfoil selected based on two-dimensional numerical simulation by Fluent, for airfoil flow field analysis, getting the airfoil aerodynamic performance parameters. The theoretical data were compared with the information and data to provide the basis for the next blade design.200kW wind turbine blade aerodynamic shape based Glauert method was designed to determine the main parameters of the blades aerodynamic shape, and some parameters were optimized. Research on the wind turbine blade modeling three-dimensional entities, and the establishment of a three-dimensional solid model of the blade by solidworks.The designed capacity of 200kW wind turbine blade, using wind turbines dedicated design software bladed, we conducted aerodynamic performance of the blade analysis, including wind power curve and wind energy utilization factor.
