However the urban square is the significant part of the urban landscape, so the square construction is also with many local culture elements.The project Siziwangqi government square is located in junction of new city area to old city area, wulanhua town, Siziwangqi. Planning area of 3.5 hectares, among them the square is 1.4 hectares. Through the review of the understanding of relevant domestic concept and international development and construction of government square. Follow the principles of planning and design. On the basis, dividing the space of Siziwangqi square on reasonable, according to functional requirements divide it into distribution area, casual chat area, central square area and amusement park area. However, planning and design in terms of water, terrain, roads, plants, buildings and others on reasonable. Design techniques combined with changes, uses addition on culture, but subtraction on landscape and to expand the culture but simplified the landscape. This is not only a way of Taiping inclusive but also a way of opening and harmony. The more important point is to highlight the local ethnic customs, combine with history and culture. The main design is to stress a unique culture including Shenzhou culture, grassland culture and Mengyuan culture creating a combination of history and modern, design a special government square.
