With UHV DC Bin-Jin and AC Zhe-Fu put into operation, Zhejiang power grid has formed pattern with two UHV AC and one UHV DC, which has changed power supply shortage situation of provincial grid in summer over years. But during the summer peaks the local power grid still exists structural problems, such as power shortage, transmission part, electrical equipment appeared full-load or over-load. So the power supply and demand situation is still grim. Therefore, how to analyze the grid weak parts and put forward the improvement measures to optimize the power grid structure and improve the power supply capacity and adaptability is an urgent problem to be solved in the process of Zhejiang power grid planning. This paper takes Yuhang, Zhejiang power grid as an example, bases on the analysis of the current situation of power grid operation mode research, finds out existing problems of Yuhang power grid operation mode and puts forward concrete improvement measures. The main work of this paper are as follows:Firstly, this paper has conducted a comprehensive analysis and review to the operation of Yuhang power grid, statistics and summary the size of the system, and the safety of power grid operation of grid. Then, Based on the Yuhang power grid project put into production this year,analysis and research to the load growth, power supply and power grid structure and connection systematic. Finally, On the basis of the previous two analysis and research, put forward rectification opinions and measures in order to solve the kinds of problems existing in the operation mode of Yuhang power network.Through the research and analysis of the operation mode of power grid, it has guiding significance for Yuhang power grid construction and retrofit of follow-up, Will make Yuhang grid structure has been optimized and improved, effectively improve the operation level of the power system and the power supply ability. At the same time, for the current power quality to raise the level of service, has the reality significance.
