1000MW ultra-supercritical units gradually become the main type of China’s new coal-fired power plant under construction, and Thermal power plant need to consume large amounts of fuel oil on Start-up and low load operation stage, and the fuel system is also an important risk plant. Therefore, oil-free or less oil Ignition Technique is one of the important methods to reduce the amount of power station fuel storage and improve plant safety and reliability. In addition, thermal power plant was put a higher limit about emissions of nitrogen oxides according to "thermal power plant emission standards for air pollutants" (GB13223-2011) since July 1,2014. Therefore, to adopt various means can reduce nitrogen oxides emissions and bring huge economic benefits and social benefits.This paper introduces the development process of oil-free or less oil Ignition Technique and low-NOx combustion technology. Then taking two Power Plant 1000MW ultra-supercritical units for the study object, Comparative study on the design and application between Plasma and of Micro-disel ignition technology, Systematic analysis of the problems existing in the practice, Proposed some solutions and achieve the desired effect. This paper also system elaborated the boiler of low NOx emissions combustion technology, conduct an related experiment in an 1000MW boiler, try to achieve Low NOx emissions by changing conditions such as boiler air distribution and oxygen, experiment proves that the adjustment method is effective and feasible, has important significance to reduce environmental pollution...
