High speed turbine generator has the advantages of compact structure, high speed, acting density, so the distributed energy system treated it as core power plantc will be one of the important development directions of the future of clean energy technology.The gas bearing support shafting is its core part,however,because of the characteristics of gas bearing, the instability of the shaft is easy to appear under the high rotating speed such as whirl and gas whip.Therefore, the stability of the high speed shaft bearing which is supported by gas bearing is must be studied. This paper mainly carried out the following research:1. Combined with the knowledge of the rotor dynamics, clarify the principle of high speed shaft.Theoretically explains the mechanism of vortex resonance, gas whirl, gas whip, and has given the testing method of nonlinear vibration of gas bearing.2. Have built the high speed turbine-generator test platform which is supported by the gas bearing,from the function and the performance two aspects, the whole system mainly includes the supply system, the main body, the control system and the data acquisition and analysis system. The bench aims to achieve control and measure the parameters of bearing gas pressure, store and analyze the data of vibration, monitor the vibration of rotor online and test rig remotely.3. Conducts a series of experimental study using the build test platform,mainly studied the electrical load of disc generation effect on the stability of the high speed turbine generator shafting comparison and analysis the vibration characteristics of two kinds of whever there have load or not, the results show that after indicated the charged load was equal in increased the shafting balance mass, which can cause the critical speed and the speed of the film start in advance, moreover can cause the vibration of the shaft system increased.4. Conducts the research to the thermal energy characteristic of high speed turbine-generator,collect thermodynamic parameters of various speed,and study the relationship between output temperature and the speed, comparative analysis the size and proportion of energy in the condition of whether charged load. The results show that the energy loss caused by the same frequency eddy and low frequency eddy when charged load is increased, so the total energy of the output is decreased.
