Landscape Plan Of Leisure Farms For The Hilly Area In Hunan Province

As a typical hilly area, Hunan province, the "land of fish and rice" enjoys rich hilly terrain resource. And its fanning culture has given birth to many agricultural leisure travelling patterns carried by leisure farms. How to make advantage of the unique natural and culture resources in hilly area with a landscape plan carrying leisure farms, local development and landscape resources utilization, and how to make the landscape plan conducive to region sustainable development becomes a new challenge in Hunan’s beautiful countryside and leisure farms development.This paper takes leisure farm landscape design in Kaijia Yueyang as practical research object, adopts the method of literature research, investigation, analysis and case validation, after researching on theory and practice, status quo, overall planning and other main contents, and reference to many domestic and foreign related researches results and outstanding cases. Then the research result comes as follows:1) Through deep understanding with the relevant concepts of the hilly area and leisure farms, the research object in this paper is fully analyzed and interpreted. Refered to the existing literature, taking in Chinese, American, German and Japanese leisure farms as main research objects and analyzed some domestic and foreign leisure farms’current development and research results, this paper sums up the aesthetic, participatory and ecological functions of leisure farms, and provides basic theoretical support for the Kaijia leisure farm landscape planning.2) Studying with the current landscape features of leisure farms in Hunan Province’s hilly area, the paper mainly studies the landscape resources types classification, and regional distribution of current natural and cultural landscape characteristics. Moreover, it sums up the problem in land use planning of leisure farms in hills, and provides correct experience and researches as references for their further development.3) According to the landscape design theory, landscape ecology theory, urban-rural integration theory and sustainable development theory, the landscape planning acts in compliance with local conditions to choose project suitable for local ecological and regional environment; it adheres to ecological principle choosing landscape system influencing less on ecological environment to maintain ecological balance and sustainable development where the project is located; it pursues the principle of economy to avoid the abuse of natural resources and national assets and forbid waste and extravagance; and it obeys the principle of aesthetics to maximize the use of landscape resources, creating leisure farm landscape with diversity, high appreciation value, high degree of participation and experience. And through the reasonable layout planning, traffic planning, vertical planning, green space system planning, pipeline planning, it aims to build a complete leisure farm landscape system.4) Under the guidance of theoretical knowledge, based on analysis of current status, nature and scale of Kaijia leisure farm in Yueyang project planning and positioning and SWOT analysis, it fully carries out overall planning on Kaijia leisure farm in Yueyang and theoretical practice. The overall planning of the project is divided into nine functional areas:garden planting area, comprehensive service area, wetlands viewing area, waterscape resort area, fruit picking area, flowers area, mountain forest area, forest recreation areas, ecological buffer area to make full use of the resources inside, paying attention to the sightseeing, participating and experiencing functions of the landscape. Traffic, vertical and green space planning are designed according to the characteristics of hilly area resources, fully demonstrating the regional characteristics of leisure farm in hilly area of Hunan. At the same time, it plans the farm entrance, the hotel landscape, water landscape, landscape architecture and others in details. Fully using planning theory, it intends to build Kaijia leisure farm landscape in Yueyang into a model of leisure farm landscape in Hunan hills.The research results above show that the landscape planning of Kaijia leisure farm in Yueyang is a program with local features, ecologically sustainable development as goal, economically sustainable as development pattern and aesthetic appreciation as the carrier. Through the integration of landscape planning and development and construction of leisure farm, technology and art means are adopted to make the effective use of natural resources and human resources and effectively protect the ecological environment and development. The landscape planning method not only applies to landscape planning project of Kaijia’s in Yueyang, but also provides reference for other leisure farm landscape planning in hilly area.
