Along with the continuous development of electricity consumption, the power distribution load continues to grow, there are different degrees of power gap in the world. The traditional power grid is dominated by thermal power and coal power, and its regulating capacity is limited, and the environmental protection pressure is relatively large. There is a big difference between microgrid and traditional power grid, which is composed of many distributed power, energy storage devices, load and control equipment, and can be related to the traditional power grid. It can achieve its own management, control and protection functions, that is, to achieve isolated operation, but also can be connected with the traditional grid operation. Microgrid can use wind, solar and other renewable green energy of distributed generation, meet the demand of the reliability of power supply, energy saving and no environmental pollution, can reduce the cost of power grid, improve energy utilization efficiency, meet the needs of intelligent power supply. This topic mainly studies the related technologies of the isolated island microgrid intelligent monitoring platform to ensure the stable and safe operation of the microgrid system.First of all, the paper introduces microgrid research background and research status at domestic and international, and then introduces the related technologies of microgrid monitoring platform, it mainly includes Microgrid monitoring technologies, communication technologies, Java Web technologies and concurrent technologies. The paper also makes an analysis of system requirements and designes function architecture and software architecture. The paper designes microgrid monitoring platform by using the hierarchical ideas, it mainly includes the access layer, function layer, standard layer and basic layer. We can clearly get the architecture of microgrid monitoring platform by using hierarchical design.Secondly, the paper introduces the design of microgrid monitoring platform including the middleware system, the monitoring system and the Android mobile client system. The middleware system includes the UART ETHERNET module and the SCADA system. The UART ETHERNET module is responsible for the serial communication to Ethernet communication, the SCADA system is a link between the MCU and WEB monitoring system. WEB monitoring system provides a visual man-machine interface to allow user to monitor microgrid platform by PC. The Android mobile client system can help users to monitor microgrid platform by mobile terminals.At last, the paper introduces the construction of microgrid monitoring platform and the overall performance testing. This paper has a reference value for the practical application of microgrid.
