Matrix Converter(English: Matrix Converter, abbreviated MC) is a kind of cross- power conversion device, and can realize direct conversion of electrical energy, in addition to possess the characteristics of the traditional pay-pay power conversion device, also has the main circuit structure is simple, no middle large capacity of energy storage component,electricity can be two-way flow, four quadrant operation, continuous adjustable input power factor, etc. MC because of excellent characteristics of the above, the modulation strategy research has gradually become an important subject, has become an important research direction in the field of power electronics. MC modulation strategy is the core part of its control methods, scholars at home and abroad has long been a research focus. Due to the3×3 MC with unbalanced load, do not have good output ability. Therefore, this article, taking the analysis of matrix converter control mechanism, the 3×4 MC with unbalanced load and input voltage imbalance separately carried on the thorough research two kinds of conditions.Between the 3×4 MC modulation strategy study is less, this article will be 3×3 MC modulation strategy in the successful application of the 3×4 matrix converter.Firstly, this article has analyzed the existing matrix converter topology, and introduced the matrix converter basic principle of work. Has studied the tradition matrix transformation traditional modulation strategy good and bad points, for the victory tradition algorithm insufficiency and the flaw, uses the real-time examination input output side the voltage and the electric current signal, will examine the signal feedback for the control module, and will carry on the dutyfactor computation and the sector judgment modulation way directly,optimized the matrix converter hypothesized contravariant level and the hypothesized rectification level modulation strategy, the new modulation strategy application, simplified the dutyfactor computation and the voltage, the electric current sector judgment, sharpened the overall system antijamming ability and the speed of response.Secondly, the paper analyzes the asymmetric three-phase input voltages on the adverse impact of the matrix converter’s output, the output voltage and current are contains hard to filter out low frequency harmonic components, the classic dual voltage modulation strategy can make the input current distortion, to improve the quality of the output of matrix converter,adopt the method of compensation virtual rectifier sides modulation coefficient, the modulation strategy by detecting input side power grid voltage, calculate the matrix converter virtual dc link voltage, and real-time adjustment according to the changes in the space vector modulation coefficient, to ensure that the output voltage and output current at normal.
