4F diesel engine is widely used in the field of transport, cargo trucks, construction machinery which has a large market share in the diesel engine power machinery. With the development of society, prompting the emissions of pollutants to mobile machinery put forward higher requirements, which requires diesel engine in ensuring the original performance and exhaust emissions levels also increased accordingly. Installing the supercharger can effectively reduce fuel consumption and to meet the emission regulations and standards.This paper is based on 4F turbocharger design and verification, through the turbocharger of 4F models supporting the design, development and validation, 4F diesel engine emissions and upgrading of the influencing factors, and accelerates the progress in the development of related types of diesel engine products. The study combines the project focus on manufacturing, testing theory, actual production and development process. The main research work and innovations are as follows:(1)According to the turbocharger structural characteristics, the technical difficulties and matching requirements by the theory of the supercharger calculation, put forward a 4F type turbocharger design, manufacturing and related properties of the authentication scheme(Including single turbocharger performance test scheme and matching the whole rear discharge upgrade verification scheme).(2)Through the analysis of turbocharger structure characteristics, combined with the design index of the diesel engine, the design theory calculated diesel engine intake flow and pressure ratio, and the calculation results are checked by the BOOST, combined with the map the initial selection of compressor. The turbocharger assembly space were simulated using the UG, the design of turbocharger size, and draw engineering drawings, drawings to create real turbocharger.(3)4F diesel engine turbocharger, the design of external characteristic test, the maximum explosion pressure test, discharge plateau verification and reliability test and verification test certification. And in the process of verification, continuous summary analysis, different structure of turbocharger on diesel engine emission.
