With the issue of the Earth’s resources and environment increasingly highli ghted,the strong support of the government policy and the significant research achievement obtained by the major automobile companies are all promoting therapid development of new energy vehicles.Wherein electric vehicles rely on itseco-friendly features have been rapidly spread. However, according to the acci dent statistics, the spontaneous combustion and collision accidents caused by th e electric vehicle electrical safety have resulted in huge losses.The electric safe0 ty of the electric vehicle with the load of high voltage power battery is a pr oblem that can not be ignored. Therefor,the electrical safety and reliability of el ectric vehicles in the market are an urgent problem to be solved.An advanced simulation analyzation was made for electric vehicle performances to mach and adjust the electric parameters in the early stage of EV desi gn. This research can not only shorten the development cycle of electric vehicles, but also can ensure the electrical safety of electric vehicle and provide the selection of wire harness with direction and help.Firstly, based on the selection and calculation methods for traditi onal electrical vehicle parameters, general parameters of electrical system were given through the calculations and analysis of parameters from the initial configuration of the electrical vehicle and matching of the power parameters. Electrical system of power battery,electric motor, dashboard, lights, wiper and air conditioner were modeled in Lab VIEW. Simulation subsystems were built in front board and change of parameter curves were showed in real-time. Then,control programs and strategies were built i n diagram of process.Then electrical sub-model for power battery and motor were built in Star Sim, sub-VI of Lab VIEW was embedded into electrical system, enter parameters of power battery were adjusted through PID control, an estimate method combining Kalm an filter and Ampere hour were adopted to estimate the state of battery, space vector pulse was used to monitor the motor for improving the contact of each sub-model,built the Integrated environment for electrical system of the electrical vehicle. According to coupling properties of partial electrical system, typical working conditions including transient shock, steady driving and ultimate condition were built and added as loading conditions in analysis of system model and completion of electrical model.Finally, simulation is implemented with Lab VIEW, and then, the simulated curves of power battery electric system and motor electric system are analyzed with reference curves of electrical test platform, and the reliability and accuracy of electrical model is verified. After that, the model is matched and analyzed with electric current. The result shows that the established model and the designed control system have high accuracy, and the electric current can be matched and analyzed at the beginning of electric vehicle design.Also reasonable electrical parameter selection and wire harness selection guide are got accuratel. It can accelerate the period of the electric vehicle development and guarantee the safety of electrical system.
